NGC  7635,  The  Bubble  Nebula,  in  Cassiopeia

   NGC 7635, the Bubble nebula, is a small (about 15 x 8 arcmin, 6-10 light years), faint, circumpolar object about 11,000 light years away from Earth. It is believed to be a nova remnant. North is up in this image.

 Scope

 RCOS 12.5 inch RC with A-P 0.75 reducer (f/6.75)  with ST-10XME CCD camera at -10 C on 

  A-P 1200 GTO  mount.   Unguided.         

 Exposure

13 x 1 min x 3x3 binning with regular IR-blocking R, G, and B SBIG filters in SBIG CFW-8 filter wheel.

 Processing  

 Stacked and RGB combined in MaxIm 3.07; R=1.2, G=1.0, B=2.0 weighting. Stretched and balanced in 

  PhotoShop   7.0
