In addition to the usual concentration of Canada Geese and scattering of mallards, there were a few white pelicans and egrets at the ponds when I visited on 22 October, 2009. I made the following shots with the Canon 1D mk 2 and the 500 f/4 telephoto extended with the 1.4ex. Please scroll down.
