A snowy egret with typical black beak and yellow feet. Images captured 8 Jan 2004 at Corte Madera Creek, Marin County, California. These are large birds: about 24 inches long with 4 foot wingspans. Canon 10D digital camera with a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L IS lens plus Canon 1.4x extender.
