White Pelicans Fishing
This pair of images shows the fishing technique used by these American White Pelicans at Corte Madera Marsh. They swim together along a shallow shore and when they detect a small school of fish, dive in unison to scoop them up. I call this "Will do the Can-Can for food." Canon 10D camera, 200 ISO, Canon 100-400 L IS lens plus Canon 1.4x extender.
