Common Goldeneye

This striking black and white duck does indeed have a golden eye. There were several on Corte Madera Creek when I photographed this fellow on 8 January 2004. The image was captured with a Canon 10D using a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L IS lens plus 1.4x extender.
