American Bittern (Botaurus lentiginosus)
Only saw one of these. He was skulking around in some reeds in a roadside ditch near a field with lots of snow geese and took off as I came along to image the geese.
Red-shouldered Hawk (Buteo lineatus)
This hawk was all puffed out because of the cold (around 38-40 F) in the Gray Lodge Area.
Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias)
Also in the Gray Lodge Area.
