Tundra Swans (Cygnus columbianus)
If seen together, the difference between tundra swans and snow geese is quite obvious: swans have black beaks and longer necks, as well as being considerably larger. When seen apart, one has to depend on the black beak and the longer neck for identification. The young swans have gray necks (see left foreground).
