Juvenile Red-tailed or Red-shouldered Hawk
Lots of fine dining for predators at the Ponds and the surrounding fields. Just before reaching the public parking area, I spotted this hawk on the fence. 500 mm f/4 on the 1Dmk2. He waited for me to get out of the car before flying off.
