White-Faced Ibis (Plegadis chihi) No sign of any white faces in this bunch of birds, but apparently in breeding plumage there is a small area of white around the eyes. So much for helpful names! Interesting birds, we found them in the Merced Wildlife Preserve on a foggy morning. Two images, scroll down.
