Mackerricher Beach & Tidepools
Mackerricher Beach lies just north of Fort Bragg and has a combination of sandy beach, rocky beach, stacks, and tidepools. Several images, please scroll down.

Above, anemones in the tidepools. The larger of the two is about 6 inches across in the longer dimension. Below, another anemone (the brown, leathery-looking object) in shallower water, closed up. Only the tips of some of the tentacles are showing at the top.
