Modified Images - Fractalius
I heard about the Fractalius plugin for Photoshop on Art Morris's Birds As Art website. It looked interesting and not too expensive, so I ordered it. Here are a few of my initial experiments with it. Most of these images are available elsewhere on this site in normal format. This is a large page; please allow time for download and then scroll down.
The Fractalius-modified image is on the left, the original on the right. Below, a group of Canada Geese in flight.
Below, an American Widgeon
Below, the north tower of the Golden Gate bridge from the Marin Headlands.
The above images are composites of the Fractalius-modified image superimposed on the normal image using Normal blend mode and 30 to 75% opacity for the upper, Fractalius, image. Below is a pure Fractalius image, using the Line mode in Fractalius.
