Venus In Gibbous Phase
As with my other recent planet images, this image of Venus in gibbous phase was taken with a Philips ToUCam web camera. I used the 640x280 mode, 1/500 second exposure. Venus was rather low on the horizon when the image was taken and there was significant atmospheric color refraction. I partially corrected the offset in Photoshop.
A-P 130 mm EDF f/6 refractor with a TeleVue 4x Powermate barlow for a final f/24.
